In this episode, I wax prosodic about ancestry, and how knowing what my lineage is impacts my spirituality. I share something intensely personal, and something intensely mild.

Challenges this show are to investigate your own ancestry and think about how it impacts your spirituality. Feel free to share your responses to the show here on the blog or in our Facebook Group!
In this episode, I wax prosodic about what it takes to serve and mistakes I’ve made in my desire to do so, Steve Jobs, and how much his death impacted me, and the quick energy blasts and burn outs that I experience.

Challenges this show are: Think about energy. How much do you naturally have? What practices have you found (spiritual or not) that increase your baseline energy? How can a girl who burns bright and then out learn to mellow out enough to avoid the crash? (Okay, that last was an entirely selfish challenge. I admit it. E-mail me your energy management tips here!)
“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” Steve Jobs
I know ‘church’ is a weird thing for a pagan to be calling a video livestream, but bear with me: The show, which is a livestreaming video show during which I art and teach you how to do whatever I’m doing used to be called “Wild Precious Live”. As Sunday became our regular ‘streaming day’ we started joking that this was better than any church we’d ever been to. It wasn’t long before we started referring to our time together as “Church” and then, later, “Church of Art”.
Church of Art is an irreverent, hours long video gathering that takes place every Sunday at 1 p.m. EST. Most of those who gather art along, but that isn’t required. We talk, laugh, joke, sometimes drink, and often fling glitter. If you want to suffuse your spirituality with creativity, this is the place to get the good stuff!
Please feel free to join me at http://livestream.com/wildprecious. If you get a free account with Livestream, you will be able to use our text chat feature and join the fray. Please note: while the hostess is pagan, this is an ‘interfaith’ Church and no one spiritual path is represented!
Welcome to the very first episode of Under One Moon in which I introduce myself and the mission of the show, which is to explore the marriage between spirituality and creativity.

Challenges this show are: Make art (of any kind) about your feelings around Samhain and explore how different cultures celebrate the last harvest of the year. I would *LOVE* to see what you made, so post a link in the comments so I can take a peek!

Hi! I'm Effy Wild, your hostess here at Under One Moon! I've been pagan since the late 1980's and have settled on the label 'Mystic Witch' after many years of studying, seeking, and practicing various permutations of the Craft. I am passionate about the intersection between spirituality and creativity, so along with the usual pagan stuff, you will find challenges to express your spiritual life creatively! I deeply hope you enjoy the show and I welcome you to add your voice via comments or e-mail sent to uomcast@gmail.com.
